Private Family Mediation

Family mediation is mandatory as a first step to regulate or modify for the first time the matters of maintenance (increase, reduction and/or cessation), direct and regular relationship (visits) and personal care (guardianship) of our children. What is sought through this means is to reach an agreement without the need to judicialize these matters.

In terms of family law, if the parties reach an agreement, we draft the “mediation agreement minutes” which is signed by both parties within the terms agreed upon in the session and this is submitted to the Family Courts for approval, which acts as a judgment.

If an agreement is not reached between the parties, we issue a certificate of “frustrated record” which enables him/her to initiate the corresponding legal action before the Family Courts through his/her lawyer.

We have a Family Mediator registered on the list of mediators of the Ministry of Justice under No. 1684, with jurisdiction in the following municipalities:

Our fees:

1. - Mediation agreement minutes , includes two sessions, $170,000

If more sessions are required, each additional session fee is $30,000

2.- Frustrated act.

- If no agreement is reached in the first mediation session, the dispute will be cancelled for $70,000

- If no agreement is reached after the second session, the minutes will be frustrated for $90,000.
